With the push of a lever, the seat and footrest can be folded up and out of the way when the lift is not in use. In addition, the single rail system can accommodate staircases with an angle of up to 55 degrees. Thank you for the review Annie! Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Regarding the beeping while the power was out. The beeps typically indicate that the lift is off of the charging strip. When the power is out, it won't recognize that it is on the charging strip, so therefore starts beeping.
The stair lift will work for up to 20 trips without a charge. If the lift is beeping, you can simply turn the stair lift off and it will stop. When power is restored, be sure to turn the stair lift back on so that it can fully charge. 1 of 1 person found this review helpful.
